The khaki service shirt was a standard officer quality garment used by Army and Air Corps officers and NCOs. The garment was made of kahki cotton twill. They features a structured collar, front placket, epaulets and OD color buttons. They are 'form fitted' , so the cut has that flattering tapered-to-the-waist appearance. |

There were several manufacturers in the US that made 'Regulation' Army Officers' shirts - Jackson Raymond Co Inc, was one of the best. They called it, the 'Rangoon' shirt.
