WW2 German Luftwaffe M42 Helmet Feldblau Texured

The latest edition of our M42 helmet is painted the 100% correct Feldblau Texured. which is the typical color of the early/mid war helmets. The Helmet features the stamped airvents, and the rolled edge found on M1935 and M1940 helmets was discontinued as a measure of economy. The helmet shell features the ET66 size stamp on the left inside, and the batch number on the inside rear, the batch number of the helmet is: 2407. It also come with a ink-stamped dome stamp on the inside of the crown. The liner of the M42 helmet is in correct pigskin,and reinforced with dark grey flannel. The liner bands showing helmet shell and liner size markings with the reverse showing maker's mark and date. The chinstrap features the the 1940 style bare steel square shape buckles, 12 circular prong buckle openings and steel retaining stud. And the maker marks of the M31 chinstrap is: R.LARSEN BERLIN 1939 The liner system was secured to the helmet shell with three retaining rivets.Shell Size: 66CM Liner Size: 58CM
